The club will send newly acquired right-hander Yu Darvish to the mound who posted 25.0 points in his Falcons debut along with Nestor Cortes who ranks 7th in pitcher scoring entering play Wednesday.

The club has seven starting pitchers with 100 or more points on the season, leading the RDBL and showing the extent of their depth.

Ducks Looking to Continue Flight

The Burlingame Blue Ducks have posted a league-high 140.0 points in Period 9, led by Paul Goldschmidt who now holds the overall lead in hitter points with 189.0 entering Wednesday. The club sits 84.0 points out of the final Wild Card spot and will send Aaron Nola to the mound against the San Francisco Giants. Nola has posted a strong 3.56 ERA and 0.94 WHIP over 60 2/3 innings.

Maulers Look to Make Push for League Lead

Since posting a 2022 league-high 372.5 points in Period 5, the Lake Merced Goutfish have been floundering, ranking 10th in scoring over the last 3+ weeks while falling from 2nd place to 5th. The club continues to try and stay afloat as they await the return of Fernando Tatis, Jr. either later this month or in early July. Alejandro Kirk is doing the best he can to lift the Goutfish back up in the standings, blasting a pair of home runs on Tuesday and hitting .444/.531/.778 over the last 14 days.
