After a week break while the Commissioner was on vacation, On The Lookout is back with a look at some of the action set for Monday. With a period and a half in the books, trends are beginning to form as the evaluation of clubs around the league are becoming apparent while others are trying to fight through injuries and remain in contention.

Here's the latest On The Lookout:

Robbie Ray (1/$5), Grapes

The Grapes already have a strong pitching staff as they rank second in scoring with 254.0 points and a 2.55 ERA, but the group will receive a boost on Monday as Robbie Ray is set to make his 2021 debut. Ray is returning from a bruised elbow when he fell down the stairs while carrying his daughter. He was lights out during Grapefruit League play, pitching to a 1.98 ERA with 18 strikeouts and five walks over 13.2 innings, prior to his freak accident and looked to have made significant strides over his performance the last two seasons.

Clovers Rotation

The Clovers are off to a slow start overall with their pitching staff being the main culprit. The group owns a 4.60 ERA and 1.42 WHIP, while ranking 14th in scoring with just 101.0 pitching points entering Monday. The club will send Waiver Claim Huascar Ynoa to the mound alongside Dane Dunning on Monday with hopes of jump-starting their season to lead off Period 3.

Lunatic Fringe Offense

The Fringe were expected to be have one of the strongest hitting groups in the RDBL entering the season, but things have been a struggle out of the gates for GM Tony Guglielmi. The group is hitting just .226/.292/.361 while walking just 35 times, the third lowest mark in the league. Their depth will need to shine as the Fringe look to weather the storm with Cody Bellinger and Josh Donaldson still on the shelf with injuries.

'Crats Offense

The 'Crats were confident in their Draft Day decisions and those moves are shining through as they pace the league by 29 points on offense while slashing .270/.346/.480 through 452 at-bats. Power has been their calling card as they are tied for the league lead with 23 home runs while Nelson Cruz (.444/.469/.926) has been the catalyst.
