Ohtani Show
The Shohei Ohtani show continues on Wednesday as he faces off against the Indians. The Grapes are holding down the final Wild Card spot entering play Wednesday with Ohtani leading all players in overall scoring with 127.5 points at the plate and 118.5 points on the mound.
Aces on the Mound
A number of the top starters across baseball are on the mound on Wednesday as Max Scherzer (Devils), Clayton Kershaw (Grapes), John Means (Hops), Corbin Burnes (Heads), Trevor Rogers (Grapes) and Kevin Gausman (Taters) among others. Brandon Woodruff (Stacks) took over the lead among pitchers in scoring but that should be short-lived with Means and Gausman close behind.
Tucker Hot Streak
Kyle Tucker continues to mash the ball since being acquired by the Maltese Falcons for Bryce Harper. Tucker homered again on Tuesday and ranks third in scoring over the last 14 days while slashing .357/.449/.809 with a MLB-high five home runs in that span.
Arenado Value Continues to Rise
The Las Vegas Aristocrats continue to pace the RDBL in hitting and no player is hotter on their roster than Nolan Arenado. The $38 value from this year's Draft leads all hitters with 60.0 points over the last 14 days including five home runs and four doubles.
All Eyes on Hops
With a limited number of sellers, contender eyes have shifted to the Meinert Hops who lost superstar Mike Trout for 6-8 weeks yesterday. The Hops sit 117.0 points out of the final Wild Card spot making every John Means start a critical one for GM Garrett Shelley.
