Rumor Central: Winker, Bogaerts, Devils, Clovers, Lindor, Realmuto & More

Just seven days remain until the Roger Dorn Baseball League Trade Deadline and the market appears to be heating up a great deal as Period 17 pushed the race for the six Playoff spots down to just seven realistic options.

That has the Mt. Diablo Devils and Lunatic Fringe entering the market as sellers while the Burlingame Blue Ducks continue to stand out as a club most likely to swing a big deal this week.

- The Spokane Fightin' Fish would love to find some high-end help in the starting rotation but the current trade market doesn't lend itself to many options without the club coughing up top prospects Ke'Bryan Hayes or Julio Rodriguez. That reportedly has GM Michael Tirabassi turning focus to reinforcing their offense which could make the Fightin' Fish a potential landing spot for star outfielder Jesse Winker (2FA/$5) from the Lunatic Fringe. If the clubs do strike a deal, Giovanny Gallegos (2FA/$5) could be a logical fit to aid in the bullpen.

- The Alamo Short Stacks continue to shop shortstop Francisco Lindor (2/$43) who is sidelined by an oblique strain. Lindor didn't look like a Keeper option through much of the year but rounded into form just before his injury. Lunatic Fringe second baseman Ozzie Albies (3R/$5) could be a potential fit as Jed Lowrie has slowed down since his hot start for the Stacks. The club is set to get Eloy Jimenez and Alex Bregman back from the IL this week and could have a full healthy roster for the final push of the Regular Season as they try and become the first club to win four Division Titles.

- The Burlingame Blue Ducks continue to discuss Xander Bogaerts (3/$31) with clubs with an asking price of a 2022 Keeper and Top 75 prospect according to sources. The club engaged with the Stacks on a swap for Lindor, but couldn't strike a deal on the remaining pieces.

- The Cloverdale Clovers face the league's most difficult decision as GM Chris Shelley tries to bridge the gap between now and the return of their stars from the IL. A dominant start from Daniel Lynch on Sunday gave the club a glimpse at a potential playoff activation while Michael Kopech also waits in the wings.

The club could match up with the Mt. Diablo Devils who appear to be fading from the race for a Wild Card spot. Catcher JT Realmuto (3/$30) would serve as an upgrade over Ryan Jeffers or Jacob Stallings while Sean Manaea (2FA/$5) and Brandon Lowe (2FA/$5) could provide a strong boost to the current roster.

- The Las Vegas Aristocrats grabbed hold of the final Wild Card spot on Sunday and remain a quiet threat to jump on a blockbuster deal. Prospect Carter Kieboom returned to the big leagues on Sunday and could be an interesting piece to dangle as clubs are likely to be turned away from offers that include standout prospects Nick Lodolo and Garrett Mitchell.
